The CAF Confederations Cup final play-off round was conducted on Wednesday evening in Cairo Egypt and saw TS Galaxy being pitted against Nigerian league champions, Enyimba in the two-legged fixture.
Following their historic Cup triumph over Kaizer Chiefs, The Rockets have done the unthinkable by reaching this stage of the competition and are on the verge of making a history by reaching the group stages of the continental showpiece.
Speaking to the club’s website, TS Galaxy captain and goalkeeper, Ludwe Mpakumpaku said the club was punching above their weight and are remain hungry for success.
Mpakumpaku said they were not worried about facing anyone on the continent as they were a highly determined club with a young squad that is eager to do well.
“So far we have done well in the Confederations Cup. We have surprised a lot of people I don’t think there is a team we want to avoid because we are confident in our style of play.
“Any team that we face will be given a run for their money because we are a confident and very hard-working club,” said Mpakumpaku.
