Divine intervention is what Rangers seeks when they face AS Pelican in the reverse fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup second round qualifier, at least according to captain Okey Odita.
Rangers lost the first-leg 2-1 in Libreville, but are slightly confident they can overturn the deficit and progress in the competition.
Odita speaking in a chat with www.brila.net also called on Nigerians to pray and support the team for the collective good of all as Nigeria’s representative in the competition.
He also stressed that the importance of the game is not lost on the players.
“We are set, everybody knows the importance of the match. By God grace we hope it’s going to be an easy match but it’s not going to be easy because everybody knows the task ahead.
“But we pray to God that God will help us to make the game easy for us.
“My message to Nigerians is for them to pray for us. So that we can win and win well.”
