Kwara United are determined to seal their progress into the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup and winger Kabiru Balogun believes the momentum is still on their side.
A 3-0 victory from their first-leg Confederation Cup preliminary round game in Lagos against AS Douanes puts the Nigerian side in good stead to advance.
In spite of the first half rout, there was concern the side’s lull second half show in the game could be a cause for concern when the side’s next meet.
Speaking with FL ahead of the game, Kabiru Balogun also assured fans that they are going to get a result against As Douanes of Niger in the second leg in Niamey.
‘Training has been intense and the Coach (Audu Mohammed) has been preparing the team mentally and physically. I believe we are ready for the clash away from home,’ the Kwara United captain said.
