Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro, has called up Boavista defender, Bruno Onyemaechi for Nigeria’s double-header, Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea-Bissau.
Bruno Onyemaechi has been a first team regular at Boavista, and earned his first National team invite, when the Super Eagles played a friendly match against Portugal.
He was an unused substitute in the match, but could be in contention to finally make his debut following the injury to William Troost-Ekong.
Onyemaechi is currently on loan at Boavista, from Feirense, until the end of the season, with a buy option in the contract.
He has been tipped to make the 800,000 Euros permanent switch owing to an impressive spell so far at the club.
