Striker, Victor Boniface was on target as Bayern Leverkusen dispatched Hacken 4-0 at the BayArena in the opening game of the new UEFA Europa League season.

After firing blank during international break, and the 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich, Boniface wasn’t going to allow his scoreless run stretch to three games and he was involved in Thursday’s game.

He did well to find Florian Writz in a one on one position for the opener before landing the KO when he found the back of the net for the third – a Clinical low drive.

Granit Xhaka and Jonas Hoffman also got on the score sheet in a five-star display from the German side.

The Nigerian makes it his 14th European goal across the three competitions including qualifiers and 6 goals, with 3 assists from 6 appearances for Bayern Leverkusen.
