Monday nights aren’t atypical for football games (soccer), but one occasions when it does happen, it takes the breathe away and the brilliance of Samuel Chukwueze was such during Villarreal’s LaLiga game against Getafe.

The 23 year-old is the star everyone’s hoping reaches his potential, and if Yesterday was a sign of good things to come, his fans and Villarreal coach, who clearly is one of them, will hope for more of the same.

So far this season the Winger has only shown flashes of the game changer he’s expected to become, but last night Chukwueze exploded with his MoTM performance at the Estadio de la Ceramica.

He scored a first half leveler (44′), dragging his team back from a losing position after an Enes Unal’s opener inside the 9th minute.

Later in the second half, the Nigeria turned provider for Jose Luis Morales (52′) and the goal won the game, also halting a four-game losing streak for the Yellow Submarines.

Indeed, Samuel Chukwueze hasn’t done much in the League this season 22apps 3goals 4assists), and Setien would hope the 23 year-old builds on his latest performance for the club that still dreams European football next season.

They’re in 7th spot and within points reach, but with 15games to go before the season is concluded, there’s still a lot of opportunities for such big nights for player, manager and the team.
