Big Man Moses Simon carries Nantes in comeback Win

Moses Simon had a big impact on Nantes’ win against Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Simon provided an assist – his second this season – and topped his overall contribution in the game with a goal.
The Nigerian inspired his side’s 3-1 come-back victory at La Beaujoire-Louis-Fonteneau to register Nantes’ first win of the season.
Toulouse took the lead in the 15th minute after Branco van den Boomen provided for Zakaria Aboukhalal.
Nantes trailed until the 50th minute when Simon teed up Evann Guessand, before Guessand then assisted Mostafa Mohamed five minutes later to turn the game around.
Nantes player of the season last term then put the game out of reach with his side’s third goal assisted by Mohamed in the 61st minute.
Moses overall contribution in the game included 2 shots, 2 dribbles and 4 tackles attempted.
He also took his goal tally this season to 2 goals and 2 assists from four games.
Next up for Antoine Kombouaré’s side is a midweek fixture away at Strasbourg.
