Head coach of Katsina United, Abdullahi Biffo was unhappy with the Changi Boys’ 1-0 defeat to Wikki Tourists as he felt it was a good chance to claim a win.
Hassan Musa headed home from close range following a freekick by substitute Williams Ukeme to ensure the three points stayed at the Pantami Stadium.
Speaking to Footballlive.ng, Biffo revealed his team came looking for the victory.
“The goal was to come here for three points. A draw would have done too,” Biffo said to Footballlive.ng.
“There weren’t many clear chances so I think a draw would have been fair.
“But they did very little to get all the points.
“It’s a loss that hurts us but we’ll overcome it as soon as possible.”
