Nasarawa United striker King Osanga insists the team is focused on winning games at home as they prepare to face Remo Stars in their NPFL fixture this weekend.
In a chat with FL, Osanga believes that the mid-season break came at the right time, but fired a warning to the rest of the league that despite being last on the log the relegation battle will be fierce.
“At this point we can’t afford to lose any game, especially at home,” Osanga said.
“Definitely we will do everything possible, our last home match was against Kwara United and you can see how everybody gave their best to get the 3 points.
“It’s a good thing those above us are still there so there’s hope, in football it’s not over until it is over, so definitely it’s the survival of the fitness and we are in here for the survival.”
Gateway United's sensational Ogun FA Cup run continued with a 3-nil victory over Remo Stars Youth Team at Gateway International Stadium, Ilaro.
