Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen limped out of Napoli’s Champions League match against Liverpool much to the despair of club fans.
The 23 year-old striker missed a penalty on the night, but Napoli went on to beat Liverpool 4-1 in the first match of this season’s UCL campaign.
Osimhen has been a key figure at the Naples based club since his arrival from Lille in France.
The extent of the injury is unknown, however, Luciano Spalleti would hope it is more than an a relapse of his thigh muscle sprain.
Meanwhile, Napoli are second in group A behind Ajax, who beat Rangers Rangers 4-0 on Wednesday.
