Awoniyi on target, but Forest fall to Fulham in PL goal fest

Taiwo Awoniyi scored in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 home defeat against Fulham in the Premier League at the City Ground on Friday night.

It took just eleven minutes for Awoniyi to find the back of the net, and grab his second PL goal since his move from Union Berlin this summer.

However, Forest only managed to defend their lead until after the break, because in the second half, Fulham turned the game on its head completely.

It took only six minutes for the visitors to score three goals, Tosin Adarabioyo sparking the turnaround for the Cottagers.

Forest pulled one back late on, but failed to find the much needed equalizer as Fulham held on for all three points.

The defeat leaves Steven Cooper’s men with a single victory in seven games and have lost four games on the bounce.
