According to sources from France, Aston Villa are readying an offer believed to be in the region of 21 million pounds for Genk Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu, 28, has been in impressive form this season, with 14 goals in 15 matches, although he endured a rather slow start to the season.
The forward has a total of 82 goals in 127 games for Genk and neared a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer.
However, it did not materialize as the English side went for Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic and added former Chelsea striker, Diego Costa, late in the summer.
If the move goes through, Onuachu will be new manager, Unai Emery’s first signing at the helm of affairs at Aston Villa.
