Peter Olayinka’s performance against Barcelona in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League caught a lot of eyes including the praise of Nigeria and Barcelona Femeni Forward Asisat Oshoala.
Oshoala was impressed with the Super Eagles forward’s solo show, running the flanks in the Camp Nou.
He was a handful for the Blaugrana defenders as his physical presence made life difficult for the likes Gerrard Pique, Clement Lenglet, Nelson Semedo and Jordi Alba on the night.
The 23-year old covered a distance of 11.31 kilometres and that was only bettered by two Barcelona players, Frenkie de Jong (12.11km) and Vidal (11.57km).
