Romelu Lukaku bullied the Arsenal defence to inspire Chelsea to a famous 2-0 win at the Emirates and the Belgian scored on his debut.
Lukaku made light work of Pablo-Mari and Rob Holding, the Arsenal duo struggled to keep the Forward quite.
The new signing scored the first goal, tapping home (15′) from close range and from a well laid pass from Reece James.
James turned to goalscorer minutes later (35′), placing his shot with fine precision from the reach of the goalkeeper after a routine play by the Chelsea attack.
Thomas Tuchel’s side could have scored more but were wasteful. They had 22 goals attempt, but only managed to get 5 on target.
Victory against their London rivals moved Chelsea ahead of Liverpool into top spot on the table.
