Aribo enjoys Game Time as Rangers seal comeback win to Keep Title Hopes Alive

Joe Aribo was in action for Rangers as they secured a 3-1 away win against Hamilton Academical in a Scottish Premiership fixture on Sunday.

Aribo walked straight into the starting eleven for Rangers against the Accies at the Super Seal Stadium following his recent exploits with the national team.

 

The 22-year-old saw 77 minutes of action as Ryan Jack early goal for the visitors was cancelled by Lewis Smith equalizer in the 14th minute.

 

A brace from Ryan Kent; a stunning strike from 20 yards in the 43rd minute, and a stoppage time strike ensured Steven Gerrard’s side grabbed all the three points.

 

The victory put Rangers level on points with rivals Celtic, with 34 points apiece after 13 round of league games.

 

The former Charlton Athletic midfielder Aribo, who has played eleven league games for Rangers this term has scored once.

 

He will hope to feature for the Ibrox outfit when they face Feyenoord in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
