Royal Antwerp bounced back to winning ways after the disappointment of their Europa Conference League elimination.
Antwerp returned to the Jupiler League and on the bus to the Ghelamco Arena to face KAA Gent.
Marc van Bommel made four changes to the side that face Istanbul Basaksehir, but stuck with the midfield partnership of Radja Nainggolan and Alhassan Yusuf.
Yusuf has featured in every game for Antwerp this season and the young midfielder continued to show improvement.
The young midfielder stacked up the stats sheets with 5 tackles attempted, 3 interceptions and 1 aerial duel.
However, on the night Gent took the lead through Sven Kums in the 10th minute, but the lead did not last and the visitors were back in it with the equalizer five minutes later Vincent Janssen.
In the 27th minute Michael Frey converted from the spot to complete around and keep Antwerp’s perfect record.
