The head coach of U-23 team, Imama Amapakabo has extended his scouting for players to beef up his team to the NNL. Amapakabo was in attendance alongside his close pal and assistant at the U-23, Kennedy Boboye.
The two coaches were sighted by footballive.ng in the VIP area where both ex youth International were exchanging ideas in a local derby played at the Agege stadium where traditional teams, Stationary Stores and 36 Lions.
It was Olaniyan Azeez of 36 Lions who caught the attention of the two gaffers with his performance on the day.
According to coach Imama Amapakabo the scouting continues. Noting that “we want to give opportunity to players playing in the NNL too, not only the NPFL and that is why I and my direct assistant were in Lagos”.
