Royal Antwerp manager Mark van Bommel is trusting Alhassan Yusuf a lot in the early days of the season as he continues to hand the 24 year-old minutes in important games.
On Thursday, Antwerp faced Kosovo side Drita in the Europa Conference League second qualifying round second-leg match.
Alhassan played the entire duration in the 2-0 victory against the hosts, with goals from Laurit Krasniqi (52′) and Michel-Ange Balikwisha (90+8′).
Bommel’s side wrapped up a 2-0 aggregate win and next for them is the third qualifying round fixture against Lillestrøm.
This weekend though the Reds will be back in action in the Jupiler League, when they host Zulte Waregem on Sunday.
