Alhassan Yusuf was in action against FC Porto in the UEFA Champions league, which they lost 2-0 at the Estadio Dragao on Tuesday.

Yusuf had a busy night in the middle of the park, was shown a yellow card just twenty minutes into the match, but Antwerp were helpless as Porto demonstrated their superior quality and dominated the game.

The Player struggled to create much of an impact in the match as he recorded 31 completed passes out of 39 he attempted, he also completed two of the three long passes he made.

He attempted six ground duels but won two of them as well as only one out for four aerial duels he participated in, signifying how dominant Porto were against the Belgian champions.

Meanwhile, Antwerp are now out of redemption as their journey in European continental football came to an end after that match.

They are rooted at the bottom of the group with no hope of even qualifying for the Europa League knock out as they have a deficit of eleven goals and no points to their name after four games.

His countryman, Zaidu Sanusi on the other hand, had a decent game for FC Porto until he was taken off in the 83rd minute for Jorge Sanchez.

Sanusi made two clearances in the game, tackled once, won three of six attempted ground duels and won all five of the aerial duels he contested.

Touching the ball 75 times, he completed 42 of the 47 passes he attempted. In the offensive phase, he made one accurate cross from the win, completed one long pass and made one key pass as well as one shot blocked, one on target too.

Porto have two games to go in order to cement their passage into UCL knockout rounds as they are second on the log with 9 points to their name.
