Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has been nominated for Royal Antwerp’s best player of the month for September.
Yusuf has been in such exciting form for his club and most had hoped it would lead to getting a Call up by Jose Peseiro for Nigeria’s in International friendly fixture against Algeria.
So far this season, the centre midfielder has amassed 15 appearances already for Royal Antwerp and His impressive display has seen him get nominated for the best player of September.
The 22 year-old last won the accolade as the best player for August and the path to this month’s award isn’t easy as he is up against, Belgium International and Former Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld, who scored two goals this month.
Striker Janssen Vincent made the list as well, he scored 3 goals in September and Netherlands’ U21 midfielder Jurgen Ekkenlenkamp makes up the nominees.
