Algeria takes on Ivory Coast, Madagascar up against Tunisia

The last two semi-finalists will emerge today at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Yesterday, the Teranga Lions of Senegal beat the squirrels of Benin Republic to one of the four semi final tickets with Idrissa Gueye’s lone strike sealing victory.


The Super Eagles of Nigeria also sealed a last four spot at the expense of South Africa at the Cairo International Stadium, courtesy of goals from Samuel Chukwueze and William Troost Ekong.


At 5pm today, the desert foxes of Algeria will lock horns with the Elephants of Ivory Coast at the Suez stadium.


Later at night, Tunisia will engage debutants Madagascar for a place in the semi finals.
