There’ll be a clash of Super Eagles players in the English Cup this season with Alex Iwobi set to up against the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.
Everton have been drawn against Leicester City in the quarter-final of the Cup following the progress from the fourth round this week.
Iwobi had a hand in Everton’s progress at the expense of Watford in a game that saw the Toffees win 2-0.
Meanwhile Iheanacho scored the first of three goals for the Foxes in the 3-1 win away to Burton.
The Carabao Cup quarter-finals draw was done on Thursday and the Nigerians will take to the pitch on December 18.
