Alex Iwobi gave a sensational performance for Everton as they came from behind twice to earn a massive point away to Chelsea.

The Toffees left it late to earn a 2-2 draw, and although Iwobi wasn’t on the score sheet he was a massive reference point for the relegation battling side.

Iwobi started on the right flank of a front three and was tireless both defensively and in the attack.

After a goalless first half, it was Chelsea that opened the scoring through João Felix’s well-taken effort in the 52nd minute, Everton responded with an equalizer through Abdoulaye Doucoure’s powerful header.

Five minutes after, Chelsea were awarded a penalty following a rash tackle from James Tarkwoski.

Kai Havertz Cooley dispatched the spot kick to once again put Chelsea ahead in the 74th minute.

It took a piece of brilliance from Ellis Simms in the 89th minute for Everton to get back into the game, the 22-year-old youngster went on a great solo run that was matched with an even better strike to give Everton a well-deserved draw.
