Alampasu Seeks Loan Exit From Feirense

Date:

CD Feirense of Portugal goalkeeper, Sunday Dele Alampasu has disclosed that he is keen on getting a loan deal that would see him get better exposure elsewhere in Europe.

After toiling with Feirense in the backwaters of football in Portugal and going on loan to a less glamorous club, the UAE 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup-winning best goalkeeper says he needs to get into the spotlight elsewhere.

His contract with Feirense will expire at the end of July and, though he is keen on getting an extension at the club, where he failed to make an appearance last season, Alampasu says he wants to leave on loan.

He reckoned his lack of game time cost him his spot in the Nigerian team to the 2018 World Cup, where Francis Odinaka Uzoho, who was third choice behind him at UAE 2013 kept goal as first choice for Nigeria.
