Anthony Okpotu started the Egypt Premier League match between Al Masry hosted Arab Contractors on Wednesday at the Borg El Arab Stadium.
Okpotu played just over 60 minutes against Arab Contractors before he was subbed off for Marwan Hamdi.
He recently joined the side from Qatar SC, but he is yet to find his scoring boots after four appearances.
Meanwhile, the Striker provided an assist in the 42nd minute for Al Masry to level. After the restart, Arab Contractors restore their lead again – five minutes in.
But, Al Masry responded again tying the game in the 71st minute through Elyes Jelassi.
Also, Emeka Eze (Al Masry) and John Okoli (Arab Contractors) featured in the game.
The shared points didn’t see a significant move for either sides in the league standings.
When Nigeria and Sierra Leone walk out of the tunnel at the MKO Abiola Stadium on Thursday, both teams could be led out by two former Tottenham academy products.
