Akwa United Head Coach John Obuh says his team deserved more than a point in the NPFL season opener away to Warri Wolves.

Obuh oversaw his first competitive game as Akwa United Boss in a 1-1 draw against Wolves in Warri.

The visitors came from behind to snatch a point, through Striker Mfon Udoh, but the former national U17 and U20 Coach wasn’t satisfied with his side’s performance.

“It was a good game, and one we felt we could have won. But a draw is also good and we’ll take it,” the Coach told www.brila.net.
