Akpoguma bossed it against Augsburg

Kevin Akpoguma put up impressive numbers this weekend in Hoffenheim’s Bundesliga home win against Augsburg.

Akpoguma, making only his second start for the club this season was rock solid in a three-man backline and shut down everything on the left.
The 27 year-old contested more aerial more aerial duels (5) than any other player on the pitch.
He also registered 4 tackles, 3 interceptions, 1 clearance, 3 blocks in his 90 minutes.
However, Hoffenheim won by the odd goal, a 39th minute strike from a perfectly worked team effort saw Robert Skov provide the assist for Dennis Geiger.
With the win, Die Kraichgauer stretched their streak to three games and they next face Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park.
