Plateau United first Choice goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye is worried about his team lack of good results in this season’s Nigeria Professional Football League.
Plateau United won the NPFL title back in 2017, but failed to defend the title season after and in a bid to reclaim the title, the management of the Club hired Abdul Maikaba who brought in the likes of Bernard Ovoke, Sikiru Olatunbosun, Gidwin Obaje to improve the team , but the Pride of Plateau has struggled to get desirable results and fighting to avoid relegation.
Speaking to www.footballlive.ng on the recent struggles of the team, Ajiboye said the team is working hard for good results but don’t where things are going wrong .
“Only God knows why, in Nigeria league now Plateau United is among best team and we play good football but we don’t know what is wrong”
“Our prayers now is that may almighty Allah help us, because we good playing good football but the results aren’t good enough, I just dont know why”. He concluded.
The latest loss to El-Kanemi Warriors has the Club in second from bottom in Group B of Nigeria Professional Football League log with 16 points from 15 matches.
