Ahmed Musa MOTM performance inspires Faith Karagumruk win


Ahmed Musa was the MOTM in Fatih Karagumruk’s 3-2 win against Gaziantep FK in the Turkish Super Lig match on Saturday.

Musa scored his side’s winner in the game and in the 90th minute, two minutes before he was replaced.
The 28 year-old Nigeria recently joined Fatih Karagumruk on a two-year deal after a short spell with Kano Pillars in the NPFL.
In his debut for the club, Musa showed his quality, helping the team to a win in their opening league game.
Ten minutes into the game and the hosts had their noses in front when Senegalese CB Papy Djilobodji turned the ball into his own net.
Seven minutes later the score was level as the visitors awarded a penalty and Angelo Sagal duly converted.
However before the break Fatih Karagmuruk were back in the lead before the break, Aleksander Pesic lighting up the Vefa Stadium.
Gaziantep were then reduced to 10 men after the goal scorer, was shown a second yellow in the last action of the half.
The second half dragged until the final moments before any real goal mouth action. Enter Ahmed Musa to double the lead for the Black Red.
But before the final whistle, Djilobodji redeemed himself, reducing the deficit on the struck of full-time.
