Al-Nassr forward, Ahmed Musa has become the fifth player to withdraw from the Super Eagles squad ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against Ukraine, footballlive.ng can report.
According to a statement issued by the NFF on Friday, Musa was forced to withdraw from the friendly due injury.
The winger copped the injury during a league game for Al-Nassr and was substituted in the 59th minute.
Prior to the Musa’s injury, four Super Eagles stars have pulled out of Ukraine’s friendly ; defenders, Omeruo and Tyronne Ebuehi, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and winger Henry Onyekuru have been ruled out of the upcoming tie.
Coach Gernot Rohr handed a late call-ups to Josh Maja, Brian Idowu, Emmanuel Dennis and Anderson Esiti.
