Godwin Aguda has left Rivers United and joined Swedish second division side Falkenbergs on a 2-and a-half year deal.

Falkenbergs announced the deal for Aguda on Tuesday and football director Håkan Nilsson revealed they had monitored the player for “quite some time”.
The player arrived Sweden on Tuesday and and admits he had heard about the club’s during the 2021 NPFL season as a Rivers United player.
“I started following the team when I heard that they were interested in me six months ago. Dominic Chatto has told me a lot about the city and the club. It seems to be a nice club that is familiar and has a very caring atmosphere.”
“It is a step forward in my career, at the same time as it is a challenge. I’m very happy to have the chance to play here and show my talent.
“This is obviously an opportunity for me. I will do my best to make the Falkenbergs happy and proud,” he says.
He teams up with fellow Nigerians Dominic Chatto, who is the side’s assistant Coach as well as players Umar Bala Muhammed and Nsima Peter.
