After his goals helped Nottingham Forest defeat fellow struggling Southampton 4-3 in the Premier League, on Monday night, Taiwo Awoniyi has urged the Club’s supporters to back the team and charge to survive the drop.

Awoniyi scored his first Premier League brace as Forest triumphed admirably, raising their chances of surviving.

The Striker was on target in the 18th and in the 21st minutes against Southampton – the club his registered his last goal against before his injury.

“Thanks for supporting all of us. Keep believing You Reds!” the Striker’s harangue rang all around City Ground after the game.

Nottingham Forest will hope the big striker maintains the scoring form when they march out again, in the next PL fixture against Chelsea.
