Patrick Pascal says there’s nothing surprising about the performance of African teams at the World Cup in Qatar and that they still haven’t shown much tactical improvements.
Pascal told FL that there is nothing new about the performances of African teams because in the past, the teams have gone as far as the quarter-finals.
He noted that what African football fans really want to see is the teams making it into the semi-final and only that kind of performance will be seen as an improvement.
The former Nigerian player stressed that fans are now expecting Senegal and Morocco to go further, but for now, Africa is still stagnant.
