African Prince! Mohamed Salah in Exclusive Premier League Class

Mohamed Salah is the highest earning African player in the Premier League, in a recent publication about the Division’s top five highest earners.

Salah, 30, joined Liverpool in 2017 and has since won multiple team and individual honors including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League titles, voted multiple times on the PL team of the season, PFA Player’s Player of the year to mention but a few.

The Egyptian’s recent contract, a 3-year extension was signed in 2022 and in terms of his salary his earnings increased, considerably – he became the Club’s highest paid player.

According to L’Equipe, Mohamed Salah is the fourth highest earning Player in the PL, but he’s also the only Liverpool Player and African on the rich list.

Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City and his teammate, Erling Haaland hold on to the top two positions, with weekly earnings in the region of £425k and £402.250k respectively.

Manchester United’s Spanish goalkeeper, David De Gea was toppled and drops to third with £402.250k.

In fourth position is Mohamed Salah with a weekly earning of £373.750k, while England youngster Jadon Sancho makes up the list with his earnings put at about £373.750k.

Quick fun fact about Sancho’s bag, the deal was negotiated by Nigerian football Agent, Emeka Obasi.

This season, Salah continues to shine despite a very torrid start to the campaign for him and the team.

He has scored 19 goals in all competitions, 8 goals in 8 UCL matches and 11 goals in 26 PL appearances.
