After a less than impressive showing at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, the Flying Eagles will return as Nigeria’s representative to the African Games next month in Morocco.

It will be a matter of redemption for Paul Aigbogun in Rabat as he seeks to guide the team to success and the feeling is mutual among the players.

Youngster Success Makanjuola was in Poland with the squad and believes there’s a stronger bond and feeling of a point to prove in the team preparing for the African Games.

“I know this team we have now is capable of making Nigeria proud even the last team at the world cup just lacked one or two things.

“The coaches are on it and working to better the play in the African games, and we know with this team, we are going to make Nigeria proud,” he midfielder told footballlive.ng.
