Alex Iwobi who had a decent game for the Super Eagles against South Africa on Wednesday made a great assist in Nigeria’s 2-1 win over South Africa in the AFCON 2019 quarterfinal.

Speaking with the Super Eagles attacker said, “The exit of the hosting team is sad. Morocco’s knockout was also surprising. We know the quality of Egypt players and their quality.

“It’s not the first time for me in Egypt. It’s a great country and everyone is helping and welcoming us greatly.

“(Mohamed) Elneny is a great friend. He was too concerned to help me in Egypt and he is one of my closest teammates at Arsenal.”
