Wilfred Ndidi insists the Super Eagles midfield still has many room for improvement and can grow at the AFCON to a solid unit.
Ndidi put in a good show in Nigeria’s 3-1 win against Sudan on Saturday at the Roumde Adjia stadium. It followed his impressive performance also in Nigeria’s opening group D game against Egypt on Tuesday.
The 25 year-old midfield pairing with Joe Aribo and Kelechi Nwakali have helped Nigeria secure a spot in the round of 16, but rather than thinking too far ahead, Ndidi insists improving cohesion is crucial as the team progresses and they will not try to get ahead of themselves.
