Chairman of Delta State sports commission,Tonobok OKuwa has promised excellent hosting of Super Eagles games against Seychelles and Egypt in Asaba.
The Nigerian team will face Seychelles in a dead rubber AFCON qualifier before taking on Egypt in an international friendly at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
Okuwa was among those who watched the first training session Tuesday evening and he confidently declared that everything needed for hitch free games have been put in place.
Okuwa told coach Gernot Rohr to enjoy their stay after Delta state Executive Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa approved total security for them and other stakeholders arriving Asaba for the games.
According to the sports commission boss, “there would be no dull moment for all” He however tasked the Eagles to do Nigeria proud in both games as he also allayed fears over state of the pitch.
“We are fully ready as you can trust Delta to play great hosts, see Coach Rohr just applauded state of the pitch,so there is no cause for alarm” OKowa concluded.
