Ahead of Saturday’s AFCON 2019 round of 16 encounter with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Super Eagles Head Coach Gernot Rohr says every game at this stage is like a world cup final.

Rohr added that he is an advocate of one game at a time, but stressed that facing the holders of the tournament at this stage means a lot.

Rohr said “Cameroon are a very good side, they qualified with 5 points, we had six and they did very well, the knockout stage will be difficult for every team, including Egypt, that’s why we will approach the game with all sense of seriousness.”

With eight African titles between the two sides, there is all to play for at the Alexandria Stadium on Saturday when the game kicks off at 5pm Nigerian time.

The winner between Nigeria and Cameroon will face the winner between Egypt and South Africa in the last eight.
