Adubi wants strong Rangers finish

Enugu Rangers defender Akpos Adubi has called on the team to end their League campaign strongly and go for first place.

The Flying Antelopes are currently first in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Group A table as the race for the season ending play offs get tougher.
There are 11 games to play and Adubi told that Rangers need to try to win them all.
“[To be in this position] means we’re having a very good year and we will look for first place, which is most important.
“The important thing is how you finish in the League and leaders hope to finish first.
“There are practically 11 finals to play and starting with Sunshine Stars, if we win then good things are going to happen.”
Adubi added that the support of the fans is what has driven him on to better this season and he doesn’t believe there is a more passionate group of fans in the country.
“The truth is, the fans motivate me even more to defend Rangers. What I like is that they don’t give up.
“I think they’re the best in Nigeria. The rest is up to us, so people can enjoy their football.”
