Adeyemi scores in RB Salzburg’s defeat to Liverpool

RB Salzburg youngster Karim Adeyemi got his name on score sheet in his Club  4-2 defeat to Liverpool in UEFA Youth at Totally Wicked Stadium on Wednesday.

Adeyemi, 17, has now extended his good form in front of goal to six in his last five games .

 

Yasser Larouci put the Mersyside giants ahead in the fifth-minute, before the German-born Adeyemi restored parity in 16 minutes fromAlexander Prass’ assist.

 

David Affengruber put Liepzig in front in the 63rd minute, However, a change in fortune saw Liverpool bounce back to win courtesy of goals from Neco Williams and Curtis Jones.

 

Adeyemi played the entire duration of the match as Salzburg dropped to third in Group E with one point from two matches.

 

They will host Napoli at the Untersberg-Arena later on October 23.
