Ademola Lookman is having the best league campaign ever and there’s still room for the Winger to improve his game.
Lookman has been quite impressive in his debut season at Atalanta, putting behind him the early struggles and doubts during his time at RB Leipzig.
In 11 appearances for the Italian club, he has scored 9 times, 3 more than he managed in his most productive league season prior – Leicester 26 apps 6 goals.
The Nigerian also added two assists to his stats – just two short of his best return in a season.
At the weekend Lookman returned to Atalanta’s starting XI after being dropped to the bench in the previous league outing at Bologna.
On Sunday, the 25 year-old grabbed a brace and an assist in the 8-2 demolition of Salernitana at the Gewiss Stadium.
Atalanta return to action, but in the Coppa Italia on Thursday when they host Spezia in the round of 16.
Then at the weekend they travel to Turin where they’ll face Juventus, with just three points separating the sides.
