Striker Adelani Adeseun has admitted that after Go Round’s 2-1 win over Heartland, the objective has switched from safety to top three
Go Round beat the Naze Millionaires on Sunday afternoon to move on to 24 points and sixth in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Group B table.
And the striker has conceded that the season’s objectives have changed.
“We are very close to salvation but right now this is the least of my worries,” the attacker who was on song on Sunday mused to Footballlive.ng.
“I’m more concerned about having a good season. We are in a positive position and we want to finish in the top three – that’s the objective.
“Three more wins will mean we’re safe, but we want more than that. Between now and the end of the season we want to keep climbing.
“If we can keep us this intensity and play with the same confidence then we’re a tough opponent for any side.
