Photo | Twitter (LucaBendoni) Italian giants AC Milan have handed Victor Eletu, a professional contract after his success with the junior team. Eletu, 17, a deep lying midfielder arrived Milan from Lagos two years ago and quickly became one of the best talents at the Primavera. He was appointed as the captain of the junior side back in July and made 19 appearances for the Ignazio Abate’s side this season. Milan Director, Paolo Maldini is happy with his growth and moved to tie him up to a new deal to avoid losing him cheaply. Eletu penned a three-year contract with the former European champions worth €1million including bonuses. Following the new deal, he’ll now remain with the club until 2025, with holding an option to extend by one year. The new contract also allow to join the first team when necessary.
