AC Milan targets Victor Boniface As Marcus Thuram Alternative

Serie A powerhouse AC Milan have identified Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface as a potential target this summer, according to the Italian website sempermilan.it.

Boniface enjoyed a good season with Union Saint-Gilloise, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess and play making abilities.

 

In 55 appearances across all competitions, he found the back of the net 22 times and provided 12 assists.

Furthermore, Boniface’s achievements extended to European competition as well, where he finished as joint-top scorer in the Europa League.

His 6 goals puts him on par with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, highlighting the Nigerian’s ability to compete at a high level and make a significant impact.

That streak last season has garnered interest from several top clubs including Napoli, AC Milan, Lazio and RB Leipzig; one or two are which have showed serious interest to acquire the player.

According to the latest report from sempermilan.it, AC Milan are determined to pursue the 22 year-old as a potential signing.

They see him as an alternative option should negotiations with their primary target, Marcus Thuram, not progress as planned.
