Following the mild drama that ensued in the last transfer window between FC Midtjylland and AC Milan over 21 year-old midfielder Raphael Onyedika, the player has implied he feels no regrets and is already settling into life at Belgian side Club Brugge.
Onyedika left FC Midtjylland after seasons, and joined Club where he seems to have quickly adapted.
He explained that the Club fans quickly made ‘me feel welcomed and like one of them, thanks to the history of former stars like Daniel Amokachi and Joseph Akpala, who were big names here.’
Shy and soft spoken, Onyedika has, however, made a statement on the pitch for Club Brugge with whom he has earned five appearances since his move in August.
Although versatile in style, the Youngster can play in Central Defence, but his strength is as a box-to-box Midfielder.
‘I like to enjoy myself when I play, football and to have possession of it either offensively or defensively. But, I like winning more and all the time.’
His form earned him a place in Nigeria’s international window game against Algeria, his debut senior National team Call-up.
