AC Milan handed newly promoted Venezia a beating at the San Siro in Wednesday’s Serie A fixture, both Tyronne Ebuehi and David Okereke both got game time.

While Ebuehi started the game, Okereke was introduced off the bench in the 74th minute in a double switch that saw the former subbed off.
Venezia has endured a tough start in their return to the topflight, but on the night there was little to suggest that the situation would be alleviated.
Despite a cagey first-half with very little clear chances, the hosts didn’t take their foot off the gas and they would be rewarded for it.
With the game past the hour-mark, Brahim Diaz (68′) broke the deadlock before Theo Hernandez added a second with eight minutes left on the clock.
The win condemned I Leoni ałati to a second consecutive defeat, following the 2-1 defeat to Spezia. In the last five games they have won just one game and are now placed 18th in the standings.
