Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham says he’s happy with Chelsea 2-1 victory over Lille in the Champions League  on Wednesday.

Tammy helped Chelsea return to winning ways at the French side after losing their first game at home to Valencia.

Abraham scored his maiden Champions league goal in the 22nd minute with a fantastic finish, before Victor Osimhen responded 11 minutes later to make it 1-1.

Chelsea grabbed the winner through Willian in the 77th minute and  Abraham believed his side are finally reaping the rewards of their hard work.

“We knew we needed to win. I knew I would get a chance and I took it well. Never an easy place to play and Willian scores a worldie –no surprise there,” Abraham told reporters.

“The manager always wants to mix things up, we can play any system. This is massive.”

Chelsea will now turn their attention to the premier league as they take on Southampton this weekend at the Saint Mary.
