Abia Warriors defender Ozor Chinedu is optimistic his side will get a positive result in their NPFL clash against Adamawa United at the Pantami stadium in Gombe, Thursday.
Abia Warriors will hope to get back to winning ways when they square up against the Justin Madugu tutored side after their draw with Sunshine Stars last weekend.
Adamawa United on the other hand are yet to register a win in this season’s Nigeria top flight league having acquired solitary point thus far in three League games.
A confident Chinedu, in a chat with brila.net, talked up his team’s chances of earning a positive result against the Yola based club.
“It will be a cracker tomorrow (Thursday), we are not going to underrate them as per they are one of the newly promoted side, they got the promotion because they had a solid team.
“Its not going to be an easy one for sure but we will confront them as if its a world cup final and that is to show how important the point is to the team.
“It was unfortunate we dropped a point against Sunshine Stars on Sunday and we here to reclaim the point and ‘In sha Allah’ a song of victory will be heard from our camp.”
This is the first meeting between both sides
