Newly appointed Plateau United Technical Adviser, Coach Abdul Maikaba has come out to shower encomium on Akwa United Chairman, Elder Paul Bassey.
Speaking exclusively to www.Footballlive.ng the former coach of Wikki Tourist said, “Honestly, Elder Paul Bassey is a rare gem. He is an administrator to work with, his managerial skills are top notch. He made my job as the Akwa United Technical Adviser so easy which led to the successes we recorded at the club.”
Maikaba went further to praise the Akwa United Chairman for ensuring that there were never any administrative lapses which was key to the success recorded with winning the 2017 AITEO Cup and doing so well in the 2018 NPFL season.
The Kano born Coach who concluded by wishing The Promise Keepers all the best in the future said It was really hard leaving Akwa United but he had to move on with his career and experience a new challenge.
